Richard is an experienced attorney who focuses his legal practice in areas of civil defense litigation. He has successfully represented numerous regional and national clients for railroad/FELA, trucking, construction, toxic tort, first-party insurance, third-party insurance, commercial litigation, premises liability, products liability, and various other types of lawsuits in many state and federal courts. In addition to being involved in nonprofits and local community causes, Richard is an active committee member of several legal organizations including the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel, DRI and the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel. He has published works and has been designated as an "Emerging Lawyer" in Illinois.
