Kyle Smith

Kyle Smith earned his B.S. in Economics from the University of Missouri–Columbia in 2022 and his J.D. from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law in May 2025. He is licensed to practice law in Missouri and is an active member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and the Federalist Society.

During law school, Kyle gained experience working in a variety of roles, including positions at corporations, law firms, and a local prosecutor’s office. This diverse background provides him with a unique perspective on understanding client needs and finding creative solutions to complex problems. Kyle also served as a senator in the UM Student Government Association and as president of the Student Chapter of the Federalist Society. His leadership extended beyond academics, as he founded a chess club and continually sought opportunities to support the student body. Kyle looks forward to applying his legal knowledge and leadership experience to serve the best interests of his clients.
