Seamus Molloy, a trial attorney who has successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts, has joined Knight Nicastro MacKay in its Missoula, Montana, office. Molloy previously worked for a large commercial litigation firm in Portland, Oregon, and a general practice civil litigation firm in Missoula.
Molloy represents companies and individuals in a wide variety of disputes, including personal injury and professional malpractice matters, construction defect cases and complex commercial litigation. At the beginning of his legal career, he served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Ronald B. Leighton of the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington and the Honorable Chief Justice Mike McGrath of the Montana Supreme Court. During the clerkships, Molloy worked on cases that involved complex business disputes, insurance coverage disputes and constitutional rights claims.
Molloy graduated with honors from the University of Montana School of Law, where he served as an editor for the Montana Law Review and competed on the National Moot Court team. He double majored at Carroll College in Helena, earning a Bachelor of Arts with distinction in both history and political science.
While in college, Molloy was a two-time NAIA Football National Champion, 1st Team All-American Linebacker and served as a captain his senior year for the Carroll College Fighting Saints football team.
